The season's end friendly game at Springfield was a pleasant day that we all enjoyed, allthough not everybody was happy with their scores. After the round we enjoyed a couple of free beers and discussed possible options for a new setup of our golfclub. Thanks everybody for the suggestions, they will be taken into account. The new management board will use the coming months to investigate, discuss and design a new setup that will better fit to the needs of our members. We will keep you informed. The club will sponsor this event for it's members (500 Baht each participating member) During the low season the new board will work on a new setup for the club, so we can make a fresh restart in november. As we have every year, we just finished the 2-day trip to Dragon Hills for the Club Champions ship 2017. This year we had very hot weather and a very good prepared golfcourse. The greens where very fast and it was not easy to find the right way on the green. Mostly ondulated and very fast. Anyway, we found after day 1 several good players in the front. Kolbjörn (31 points), Karl (26), Per Magnus (26), Kenneth (28), and Bernt (25). Also the ladies prepared for the next day very well: Vee (27 points), Lene (25), and Astrid (18). For the second day, we had then an exciting initial position for everyone! Day 2. After breakfast we started to the 2nd round. The first group where only 3 people and they are very fast! Kolbjörn and Karl delivered a head to head race. It was thrilling till someone of this two make's some mistakes. After 3 hours 45 minutes it was clear! Also the Ladies had a run head to head. The final result was, that the 2 ladies in lead had a point equilibrium. After we checked the score card's we had to look at the result of the last 9 holes and we found a winner.
